The ‘StickyMat’ system consists of a thin electric heating cable that is evenly distributed over a self-adhesive fibreglass mesh mat. You can therefore place this electric heating mat directly on your subfloor without adhesive. The self-adhesive property of the mat makes this method of installing electric underfloor heating the fastest of its kind.

Warmup's electric underfloor heating system uses the Warmup twin heating cable, which only needs to be connected on one side of the thermostat. The electric heating mat is strong yet very thin, making this underfloor heating system ideal for installations with limited build-up height.

Quality Heating's electric underfloor heating is designed so that it can be installed easily.

Tips:

1. Measure the total area of the space to be heated — leave 20 cm free from the edges and do not place under toilets, fixed floor-mounted furniture or under shower trays. For a heating area of, for example, 3.8 m2, choose a 3.5 m2 mat set.
2. Quality Heating mat sets have a width of 50 cm. For a 3.5 m2 mat you will receive a mat 7 metres long at 50 cm wide. The runs can be placed next to each other. You can cut the mesh of the mat to create turns. Never cut the cable of the mat to shorten it.
3. If you have a wooden subfloor you are required to use the ISO-64 insulation boards. The supplied Fastheat ensures faster warm-up of the underfloor heating. This primer can also be used as a primer for the levelling compound.
4. Place the floor sensor in a separate conduit. The sensor must exit between the underfloor heating cables for an accurate measurement. Once the mats are placed, you can tile directly on them or spread a layer of levelling compound over the mats.
