Alu-Foil Underfloor HeatingDo you want a reliable and low-maintenance underfloor heating system? Then choose the Alu-Foil underfloor heating system. The Alu-Foil system comes with a 10-year warranty and complies with electrical safety class IEC800 class II.The Alu-Foil system is developed for floating wooden floors such as wood, laminate and parquet (for carpet or PVC floors you should use the Heatpak duo system). From the thermostat two chases are made in the wall; in these you place the flexpipe. Through one chase go the connection wires of the Alu-Foil underfloor heating and through the other chase you place the floor sensor. (you can place both the connection wires and the floor sensor in one flexpipe, but this will make replacing the floor sensor afterwards impossible)Step 2 XPE-PRO insulationPlace the XPE-PRO insulation over the entire surface and tape it down so it cannot shift.Step 3 Install Alu-foil underfloor heatingUnroll the Alu-foil mat in the areas you want to heat and keep approximately 5 cm distance from all walls. If the Alu-Foil is not the right length it can, for example, be folded back 180 degrees by cutting the Alu-Foil without touching or damaging the heating cable. This can be repeated multiple times. Once the Alu-Foil is laid, it must be continuity-tested with a multimeter.Cut only through the Alu-Foil mat and not through the cablesNOTE!: After folding the Alu-Foil mat there will be heating cables exposed. Seal these on both the top and bottom with aluminum tape.   Step 4 Install thermostatThe final step is to install the thermostat.
