WarmUp insulation 4in1 ultralight

The WarmUp 4in1 Ultralight insulation boards are ideal to use in combination with electric underfloor heating. They can be installed under all types of subfloors, and they are dust-free and lighter than other insulation boards, making them easier to work with

WarmUp Ultralight insulation can be easily and dust-free cut to size because it has no cement coating. 
The WarmUp Ultralight has been tested and assessed for its acoustic performance by Intertek Building &
Construction in accordance with ISO 10140-2, ISO 10140-3, ASTM E90 and ASTM E492. The obtained results are tested values and were obtained by using the prescribed test methods in test chambers that comply with the laboratory requirements specified in ISO 10140-5.

The warranty is 10 years.

Installation:

Step 1

The substrate must be clean and dry and, if necessary, leveled with a smoothing compound to obtain an even surface.
NOTE: The maximum allowable deviation of a straight edge of 2 m, which rests on the subfloor under its own weight, is 3 mm.

Step 2

Prime subfloors with a diluted (1:4) primer.
Consult the manufacturer's instructions for specially manufactured subfloors.
If the subfloor is well prepared and clean, priming may not be necessary; this can vary depending on the chosen tile adhesive. Consult the tile adhesive manufacturer's instructions for information on priming.

Step 3

Ultralight must be applied with a flexible cement-based adhesive. The adhesive should be combed out and notched with a 6 mm x 6 mm (¼” x ¼”) square notched trowel to obtain a ribbed bed, with slight depressions in the subfloor filled by the mortar.
NOTE: If you intend to apply a smoothing compound over Ultralight, apply WarmUp edge strip up to the edge of the room to allow for differences in movement between the finished floor level and the walls.

Step 4

Ultralight must be laid onto the freshly applied ribbed bed and embedded thoroughly to ensure that no voids remain under the boards and that they are firmly supported.
All boards must be laid staggered.
NOTE: Allow the adhesive used to fix the boards to the subfloor to cure before laying the electric underfloor heating directly on the boards.
