Waterproof safety with flange design

The Lunadrain comes equipped as standard with a surrounding stainless steel flange. This flange allows placement of a waterproof membrane (included), essential for application on non-waterproof floors such as wood, and extra safe on concrete floors.

The membrane acts as a reliable barrier: in case of leakage, it prevents moisture from affecting the substructure. Any water that may have entered evaporates naturally. This makes Lunadrain a smart choice for any wet room.

Designer grates to your taste

Each Lunadrain is supplied with an elegant stainless steel top grate. Choose the grate that best suits your bathroom style:

• 2-in-1 tile grate: place tiles on the grate for an invisible finish or flip it over and use it as a closed stainless steel grate. (Maximum tile + adhesive thickness: 13 mm)

• Row: minimalist grate with a straight line of slots

• Dots: playful design with falling water droplets

Watertight installation: Nurion's two golden tips

1. Correct fixing of membrane and flange
   Fix the waterproof membrane to the flange and finish with joint compound. This ensures a watertight connection between the Lunadrain and the shower floor.

2. Treat the entire shower area with waterproof coating
   Apply waterproofing tape and compound on the joints and cover the entire surface up to approximately 150 cm height. This prevents leaks through tile joints, which are never completely watertight.
