Waterproof 80mm Butyl Tape for ISO-64 Boards

This self-adhesive butyl sealing tape can be used to provide a waterproof finish to corners and butt joints of insulation panels. This tape is used in wet areas where a waterproof surface of the insulation panels is desired. The butyl tape is applied in corners or over joints to achieve a completely waterproof seal. Construction of the wall or floor can then continue. The backing of the butyl tape consists of a membrane for good adhesion to cement bonding of, for example, tile adhesive or leveling compound.

Installation of ISO-64 Polyboard

If the panels are installed directly on a wooden subfloor, it is best to adhere them with tile adhesive and screw them down with rosettes. When the panels are used on a concrete subfloor, they can be adhered to the subfloor using tile adhesive. 1 Polyboard panel of 60 x 120 cm can be mounted using 4 fixing rosettes.

The joints and corners of iso-64 panels can be taped with QH reinforcement tape to achieve a durable seal. The fiberglass reinforcement tape is finished with tile adhesive to permanently adhere it to the insulation panels. To make the joints and corners of wet spaces (such as showers) permanently watertight, they are taped with butyl tape.
